The characteristic of dump trucks is that the cargo box can be tilted to a certain high angle, allowing the goods inside the cargo box to be poured out. The tilting of the cargo box is achieved through the hydraulic system of the dumping mechanism, driven by the engine of the dump truck. Due to the automatic tilting of the loading container at a certain angle for unloading, the unloading time and labor force are increased, the transportation cycle is shortened, production efficiency is improved, and transportation costs are reduced. It is the most commonly used transportation machinery model.
The Howo dump truck consists of four parts: engine, chassis, driver's cab, and cargo box. The structure of the engine, chassis, and driver's cab is the same as that of general trucks. The cargo box can be overturned backwards or laterally, and backward overturning is more common, with very few cases of bidirectional overturning. The front of the cargo box has a safety guard board for the driver's cab. The hydraulic tilting mechanism of the cargo box consists of an oil tank, a hydraulic pump, a distribution valve, and a lifting hydraulic cylinder, which push the piston rod to tilt the carriage. By controlling the piston rod movement through the control system, the cargo box can be stopped at any position that requires tilting. The cargo box is reset using its own gravity and hydraulic control.
